Definitions
Retrieval – the act of tracing product, removing it from distribution, and storing or disposing of it.
Withdrawal – this term has different meaning in different countries and organizations and can be confusing. Be sure when encountering this term, you understand the context in which it is used. It will not be used in this course.
Recall – the removal of compromised food from all possible stages of the supply chain.
Objective
