If you have had to recall a product, your process has shown a serious problem, and you should do everything possible to identify any shortcomings in your system that should be corrected or improved. Managers should review the food safety plan thoroughly as part of the corrective action. Everyone involved in the recall and other relevant staff should meet and discuss what they have learned and what actions are needed to prevent the problem in the future. Once you have identified any changes that should happen, appropriate personnel should be re-trained.
