Definitions
Validation – information that confirms that the plan, when implemented, actually can control the identified hazard
Verification – activities that determine if the controls in the plan are properly implemented in a way to control the hazard
Objective
In this lesson you will learn about important information that supports your food safety plan, specifically validation information for Salmonella control in a peanut process and verification activities for peanut process CCPs. You will also learn how to verify your overall food safety plan.
